ZOM-100/ZOM-1000 Manageable Fiber Modem 
PRODUCT BRIEF The ASO series ZOM-100 is a manageable fiber modem (or named as Media Converter). The ZOM-BD100T is a card set modem which is inserted to the central manageable card shelf - the ZOM-CS100 or the remote standalone enclosure - the ZOM-RT100. This card set design minimize the maintenance spares and inventory. The ZOM-BD100S is a simplified and cost effective standalone modem which can be used in the CPE location. The ZOM-BD100T and ZOM-BD100S provide the unique Remote Fault Detection (RFD), which can help to detect the Ethernet link status on the remote unit. This link loss detection facilitates the remote link status and provides the rerouting function by using the router capability, then provides the reliable link protection to the end-user.The modem also supports the bandwidth control, that provides the most flexibility to the service provider for the QoS and SLA with their clients. The ZOM-1000T is a Gigabit fiber modem with the same form factor as the ZOM-100. It supports 10/100/1000Mbps speed rate auto sensing and seat in the same central shelf and enclosure as the ZOM-100. The ZOM-CS100 central card shelf with dual power supply and support up to 15 modem cards per shelf.It can be cascaded for another 3 shelves of total 60 links of 120 modems, which are being controlled under single IP address by using the ZOM-NM100 network management module. The ZOM-RT100 is a standalone enclosure for housing one fiber modem, such as ZOM-BD100T or ZOM-1000T which are most likely used for remote site. The ZOM-100 is SNMP ready. It can be managed by the simple web based management console or through the SNMP management platform with GUI software - the EManager provided by Aisai. All modems are in-band manageable and provide the most effective way for the system management, no extra bandwidth will be used.
